Did ya get the Reno 911 reference? ;)
Nearly everytime I visited Atlanta before moving here, I would have to make a stop by the delicious Taqueria del Sol. First off, you need to know the rules: don't go and grab a table. You must wait in line until your order is processed. Two, speaking of that line, it's usually out the door (I can attest to this at all four locations), but it moves really fast, so don't freak out. Three, order a salsa trio.
Maybe order a margarita (the only frozen ones I like are from here), admire the cool, calm decor (see below), and nosh on those chips until the divine fish tacos appear. I know these have been around in CA forever (one of the things I miss from there), and when I describe these to friends, they exclaim how gross fish tacos sound. No! Taqueria del Sol is not celebrating its 10th anniversary without reason. They have quick service, delicious tacos (I order fish and veggie), a menu that changes weekly, and simply cannot be missed. I've not had the collard greens nor the pork tacos, but I hear that these are big crowd pleasers as well. Yum!
(Note: I am not paid for my reccomendations, just an honest opinion!)
