Here's how I make mine:
- 3 ripe avocados
- 2 vine ripe tomatoes
- 1 small onion chopped
- 1 clove garlic chopped fine
- ½ lime juiced
- 1/3 cup chopped cilantro
- Salt pepper to taste
- Add jalapenos if you want a little kick.
Mix the ingredients. Eat with tortilla chips, baked tortillas, or even pita bread.
A close up of the guacamole. One of the blogs I read said she used olive oil as her special ingredient--if that's you, please let me give you credit.
What's YOUR recipe for guacamole? What's your secret ingredient?
Oh how i love guacamole. I could seriously eat it breakfast/lunch/dinner... is that weird?

I love guacamole! - Avocados have too much of water content and they don't make good, creamy guacamole.
ReplyDeletelooks tasty mmmm
ReplyDeleteYou had me at ''no cooking''! ;D This is a fantastic recipe, thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI've never tried guacamole, but after seeing this recipe I'm def. going to have to! It looks delicious-perfect for summer!

I am a huge fan of the guac too! I consider its own food group. Boudros in San Antonio has perhaps the best guac I have tasted in my travels across the US. A must if you are traveling in Texas.

ReplyDeleteGuacamole is one of my favorite things in the world. If I'm feeling particularly lazy I think it's just as good with just a mashed up avocado with some lime juice and salt! I'll call it "Guacamole for Cheaters" voila!
ReplyDeleteI realize that guac should be easy to make, but every time I've tried it's been such a fail... Time to try again, because this looks fab!

That looks so good! I use a similar recipe when I make my guacamole. I usually use shallots instead of white onion and sometimes I puree my guacamole in my food processor, depending on my mood.
