Wanderlust Week: 50 States 50 Welcome Signs/48 States 48 Ridiculous Signs

We're still road tripping around here! It's a great alternative to flying and can be done so cheaply! Plus, it amazes me how many people I've met that have never been to more than 2 states! I'm also amazed at how different each state really is--there's so much diversity with the people, food, accents, etc.

I wanted to include a few more links:

• Everyone should learn how to change a tire--tips like that and more here from Real Simple.
• Do you love silly roadside attractions? Like the world's largest peanut? RoadsideAmerica.com is a searchable list by state! I've used this many times!
• Something silly I've done: taken a picture of a car tag of every single state in the United States. But what I didn't do is take a pic of the welcome sign. This site does exactly that! http://www.elistmania.com/still/50_welcome_signs_from_50_states/showall/
