This has nothing to do with my post, I just wish I was at the beach...
I feel like I've been absent, even though I've been here the whole time. I had worked so hard on my back to school posts, that there hasn't been much of Elle on here lately. However, if you follow my Twitter, you're up to date on everything! So what has Sees seen lately? Let's see:
I started a new job! I've been at it for a month, and while the first couple of weeks were challenging, things are looking up & up. I love no longer being unemployed!
Baby Piper was born! I wrote about attending her shower and now she's finally here! After having 2 nephews, it's nice to have a "niece" to spoil.
I took a trip to Asheville, NC to see some friends. Along the way, I visited many roadside attractions. I'm a sucker for those things. I saw this awesome covered bridge in South Carolina.
I was deep in the country, as this drive-thru (takeaway) restaurant can attest. Livers & gizzards? I'll pass, thanks!
We went white water rafting, and I didn't fall out of the raft! For someone as clumsy (and not into sports) as me, this was quite a feat. It was sooo cold and raining, but we had so much fun!
Asheville is one of my fave cities. Whenever I'm here, I have to have brunch at the famous Grove Park Inn.
The weather was so wonderful. I also got some great recommendations for things to do thanks to friends on Twitter.
The World's Cutest Nephew #2 turned 1! He's just demolished his Elmo cake (and even smeared some on the wall.) And here he is on a horse in action!
I got to see my family back home (I miss them so!). World's Cutest Nephews # 1 & #2. I hope they're best friends when they get older.
Mail! I LOVE getting stuff in the mail, and this postcard from Jammer made my day!
How was YOUR weekend? How's life been treating you lately?
So happy that you are having a great time at work:)
