Friday Questions!

It's FRIDAY (finally...this week was so long)! And that means FRIDAY QUESTIONS! I wanna know more about YOU, so answer the questions in the comments. My answers are below. Have fun & have a fantastic Friday!

  1.  Do you have anyone famous from your hometown?
  2.  What's the longest line (queue) you've ever waited in?

Elle's Answers
1.Tons! The founder of Coca Cola, many musicians (land many rappers/hip hop/r&b), Dakota Fanning, Brittany Murphy, Julia Roberts, Ryan Seacrest, Margret Mitchell (wrote Gone With the Wind), and so many more.
2. edit: 8 hours for a concert...it rained, it was hot, it was worth it.
3. The new Harry Potter--I had never read the books until last month (welcome to the 90s, Elle!).

    1. Do you have anyone famous from your hometown? Bob Wyland the painter went to my high school and Eminem lives about a mile away from me now.

    2. What's the longest line (queue) you've ever waited in? I camped out and waited overnight with a boy for a Wii when it first came out. It didn't turn out so bad, he asked me to marry him shortly after.

    3. What upcoming movie are you excited to see? HARRY POTTER!!!

    4. Are you dressing up for Halloween? Are you attending any parties for Halloween? No I'm a bit of a scrooge when it comes to Halloween. All the bells and whistles for Christmas though.

    2. hmmm....about an hour for fashion's night out in NYC this last fashion week to get into bergdorfs!

    How fun!! I'm sure you're not going to be the only Snooki out and about :) I'm waiting "For Colored Girls" to come out in theatres and this year I'll be dressed at Cleopatra for drinks and cocktails!

    That is too hilarious and awesome you'll be Snooki! I'm looking forward to the new Harry Potter too (I'm such a kid!) and also can't believe you stood 4 hours in line! Total dedication:)

    Pumpkin carving tonight with friends and hanging in the hood to pass out candy.

    8 hours in line I so do not have the patience!

    1. eminem, kid rock, madonna etc. I am from Michigan.

    2. I waited in line for an hour for beanie babies with my mum when I was like six lol.

    3. I am excited to see that Reese Witherspoon Owen Wilson movie out for the holidays.

    4. I am going to be, Wonder Woman, a Peacock and a scarecrow

    1) Do you have anyone famous from your hometown? ANSWER: Tons! My hometown is Greenwich Village, New York.

    2) What's the longest line (queue) you've ever waited in? ANSWER: Splash Mountain at Disneyland - two hours! :/

    3) What upcoming movie are you excited to see? ANSWER: Gah! I don't even know what movies are coming out! :P

    4) Are you dressing up for Halloween? Are you attending any parties for Halloween? ANSWER: I'm not attending any parties; but I'm dressing up as a black cat to take my nephew trick-or-treating. He is going as Spider-Man! :)

    1. I'm from Chicago, so yeah, quite a few (and I have met/spotted a lot of them!)

    2. I live in Greece, so I basically live in line.

    3. Nothing special, we don't have a movie theater around here, so it's whatever is playing when I am in Athens!

    4. I wish. I used to love dressing up!

    1. I'm originally from Birmingham- Home to Ruban Studdard, Bo Bice, and Taylor Hicks. Haha~ I guess we love American Idol.
    2. My hubs waited 8 hours on the iphone 4. I don't do lines. ;)
    3. Still haven't seen Social Network
    4.I'm Audrey Hepburn today at work (will post pics soon)

    PS: I'm emailing you to see if you might live in my same apartments~ how cool would that be?!

    Ummmm, I don't know/remember for the first 3, but for 4) I'm going to be Alice in Wonderland! Halloween is kind of a weekend-long event at college, so I'm sure I will be attending lots of parties :)

    I frigen LOVE the word "queue".

    I think i was born in the wrong country!! hehe

    1 Lindsay lohan grew up about 15 mins away from me. I once saw her in blockbuster! haha

    2 It would have to be something at disney world.

    3 I still haven't seen the social network!!

    4 I'm going to a party tom night & im so excited, i haven't dressed up in awhile.

    1. Kalamazoo, MI-Derek Jeter and TJ Duckett(he played for the Falcons at one point) I am sure there are a couple others.
    2. I am sure it was for some sort of concert tickets when the boy bands were big!
    3. I really want to see The Social Network
    4. I am not going to dress up...I am not a huge fan but I love seeing what ideas other people come up with.

    I never wait around in queues!
    Can't stand them so I do my best to avoid them at all times. Such a pity you had to stand Four hours in a queue. Have a nice weekend!

    I once queued 1 and a half hours in Hollister to buy a jumper and I've also waited hours to get into gigs as well.

    Eight hours in line?! Holy moly! You're dedicated! Mine was three hours in line for the Shopbop warehouse sale here. It wasn't worth it, but I did pick up one top to make the wait worthwhile.
