How was your weekend, birds? Mine was spent without a computer (so only 3 posts last week. Yikes!) and in anticipation of the snow. I'm still very much a kid when it comes to snow and winter. I love it. This week's Quick Tip blends itself perfectly to the winter season.
Once while traveling I found myself in dire need of shaving cream. I was out of conditioner (another option) but had some baby oil (which has tons of uses). I decided to use it as shaving cream and was thrilled with the results! Simply splash some on your legs and shave. It really leaves legs softer and skips the "put on lotion after I shower" step. It's also very cheap! A bottle will last for months and months. If little ones also use your shower, just be sure to rinse out the tub/shower thoroughly so they won't slip!
Other options: baby oil is simply fragranced mineral oil, so mineral oil is an option. If oil is too greasy, use oil gel or creamy oil. And there are other scents so you don't smell like a baby either. I love the aloe vera, lavender, or cocoa butter varieties best.
PS--See my other QUICK TIPS here.
