Snow Day
Sunday night the snow began to fall in Atlanta and by Monday morning, 7 inches had accumulated. Everything shut down--Interstates that were usually clogged with traffic had barely a whisper of a passerby. It was eerily quiet yet peaceful. I spent the day watching the powdery snow change to crunchy ice, getting warm by a fire with coffee & cinnamon bun, and taking these pictures. Enjoy.

Whoa! I love your pictures, especially the icicle ones, and your dog of course! FL is the only state in the Union without a single flurry on the ground, so I can't relate at the moment!

Aw ... I think all the pretty looking wintery snow fell by your house, because I got a few inches of snow covered by another two inches of ice! It is like a frozen slip and slide outside, my dog wrecks every time she goes outside!
ReplyDeleteLook at the Holly and Berries... that brings back such fond memories and myself and my family looking for them after a huge snow storm.. I think winter is such a romantic time of year. Fab Photos.. I'm hoping to get some snow this weekend!
ReplyDeleteCan you send some of that snow my way?
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures! I love the little dog in the snow. We only got 5 inches here. Glad you enjoyed your snow day!
