Outfit of the Week: Must Be The Season

Must Be The Season



Recently, spring decided to briefly appear in Atlanta, and I was loving the warmer weather. However, it must be the season because yesterday winter was refusing to leave with the wind and threat of rain. I had the day off and wanted to be comfy (jeans & an old ragged t-shirt, definitely not shown) but look presentable while running errands. Here's what I wore--
  • a trench...a must have for every girl. Unlike the one shown, mine's from H&M, showing that classics can be pulled off on any budget.
  • a beautiful scarf. It gives a pop of color and makes me reminiscent of spring (and my inspiration board!).
  • ballet flats. How did I live my life without these years ago?
  • skinny jeans with the cuffs rolled up. It's cute and chic.
  • a messy bun, to keep my hair from flying in my face.
  • lip gloss. I love the subtle tint that picks up the colors in my scarf!

    what a cute outfit, I love that scarf, I always like how a scarf can brighten up a plain outfit or make a lower cut sweater covered up and appropriate for work.

    Wish I could wear flats this week, or any time in February or March then....I think we have to wait till May to do so. :( Oh boy. ;)

    i'm just checking my thermometer and it's 70 degrees here in the south end of atlanta. so i'm sure you've found another cute outfit for today! i like this one you've posted.

    since i cut my hair really short on sunday i'm amazed at how my hair makes my "old" clothes come to new life just because of my new haircut. i'll post about it some time this week so you'll get to see it.

    What a great cas outfit!

    I've been on the hunt for a good trench forever! It is strangely difficult to find a nice trench that fits a shortie and is actually weather-proof and doesn't cost a bajillion dollars, argh!

    I have an H&M trench, too, and I love it!! You definitely don't have to spend a fortune to find quality classics.
