AND Summer Week begins! I've got some great posts lined up, including outfits, summer* essentials, my summer bucket list, and a summer party! If there's a request for a post, let me know & I'll put it up! Enjoy! Love, Elle
Summer heat is known to sizzle hair, so for one month I’m trying a different homemade hair masque. Some of the masques are ones I've used in the past, and some I've gotten via Google. I wanted to try different, natural ingredients to mix up my hair care routine. Each week I’ll post the materials, method, and results!

Avocado Hair Masque
Materials:
- 1/2 avocado (make some guacamole with the rest. Ha!)
- 2 egg whites
- Bowl
- Fork
- Mix two egg whites & half of a mashed-up avocado.
- Apply to hair & leave it in hair for 15-30 minutes.
- Wash and condition.
- My hair was smooth! It worked and didn't smell like food.
- The texture was really thick and gloppy, making application a little difficult. Maybe next time I'd blend it a little for smoother application.
- I think I needed more avocado since my hair is so long & thick!
- Would I try this again? Sure!
Come back tomorrow for more summer fun & come back next week for another hair masque!
