Outfit of the Week: Tree Time

When: Sunday
Where: An Atlanta Christmas Tree Farm, aka set up in a parking lot
Why: To get a Christmas tree! It's TREE TIME!

It's just not Christmas unless I play the mess out of this cd. What's your favorite Christmas cd?
Wore:

  • Although I was just picking out a tree under a tent in a parking lot, I wanted to play the part like I was really at a Christmas Tree farm, a tradition of years passed. It was just a little chilly, so I wore my purple plaid shirt from Target, $16.
  • Underneath I wore an Old Navy tee, $10.
  • Jeans and my Fuggs. Whenever I do an outfit post collage, it is exactly what I wore, or as close as I can find it. But I didn't actually wear Uggs; I wore my Fake Uggs, that I only wear to walk Charlie or get the mail. I'm so embarrassed I wore them, but I'm keepin' it realz. With a z.

    I have a friend who grew up on a Christmas tree farm in Vermont (she's one of the most genuinely happy people I know). This is basically her daily uniform! Love the plaid and the side braid from your previous post.

    I have fake Uggs too! I am so not embarassed though haha this is Minnesota it gets cold here and didn't wanna fork over money for the real ones! (although this winter may require some investment in that department)

    No shame in having fake uggs! I'd wear a pair too if I had them. No worries about ruining shoes that cost over $100 dollars and I'm sure they're just as fuzzy and soft :)

    Hey - UGGs (or Fuggs) is practical footwear (I can testify to that - I have 8 pairs of UGGs). Don't be embarrassed - be the girl with sense and warm feet in freezing weather.

    Seriously, I don't get why people are against UGGs. They may make you look like a turd monkey but that's not the point.     Oh Elle, I think this is the perf outfit for picking a tree. I used to have a pair of fake uggs (in pink nonetheless) but I left them in Alaska. Now I wish I had them because I didn't know it got THAT cold here in IL.
