Just checking out this tree, nbd

- Since it was ridiculously hot, my top was perfect for the weather. It's so thin, light and over sized so it's super comfortable. While sheer, it does have the black camisole attached. It'd be even better for a night out! $50
- Backyard Botanical features a tropical flower-printed design on the sheer blouse. It makes me long for the sea (ok, when am I not longing for the sea? If you answered During Shark Week, we are automatic bffs). I wouldn't suggest wearing it (a)carpet cleaning due to a certain puppy using the carpet instead of the grass (b)trying to make a dramatic entrance.
MySomeone's sleeve could get caught on the doorknob, not that I'd know anything about that. Just saying... - While there are a variety of options to pair with this blouse, I chose black skinnies from Old Navy. $29
- I wore these black wedges also from ON, but by the time I took pics, I threw on some really old flip flops, took a couple of photos, and
ranwalked quickly to the delicious cold air. - Jewelry party cancelled due to weather.
I look mad, but I assure you I'm just melting.
How was your weekend? Was it ridiculously hot?
PS: Do you ever get your clothing caught on anything? Or is it just me?

by the way, what´s a morkie? :-)
Love that top! So excited to see you in an outfit post (you now have to participate in Fashionista Friday!). This weekend I stayed indoors as much as possible too.
ReplyDeleteElle, you look so cute!
ReplyDeleteThis heat is ridiculous! I needed a breezy top like that to get me through the weekend. Instead I barely moved from the A/C.
ReplyDeleteChanning is from Alabama. I believe from Cullman which is not far north of Birmingham.
ReplyDeleteThe top is too pretty and looks like it keeps you cool - two thumbs up!
ReplyDeleteI ripped one of my favourite, perfect summer linen pants while riding my bike. The right leg literally ripped in half. It was quite tragic.
ReplyDeleteHow awesome is that top! And yes...Channing Tatum....yummo!
ReplyDeleteOMG your dog is so darn cute!! xo
ReplyDeleteWow, I'm impressed you ventured outside at all. We stayed in most of the weekend, only leaving to go see Ted and have them say that the theatre was having a problem and Ted wasn't going to be able to be seen. Soooo, for a few minutes I thought the Gods had somehow set up for us all to see Magic Mike since it was the only other movie playing at that time but alas, my husband was not feeling that plan and we waited for a later screening of Ted, sigh. Love your top by the way. Enjoy this 'cooler' high 90's temp :)
ReplyDeleteHey dear, its so great to see an outfit post, you look beautiful, the top is a lovely lovely piece. Cutest dog indeed!
