How To: Toasted Marshmallow Eyes

I love the tasty treats and traditions of autumn, like hot cocoa with marshmallows on a chilly night or s'mores by the fire. It probably doesn't help that I have a Marshmallow Fireside candle burning as I type this. Combined with that inspiration and the warm brown of the Naked Palette, I decided to create a basic, neutral, wearable eye look I call Toasted Marshmallow Eyes.

 Y O U ' L L  N E E D:

• Naked Palette
• Fluffy crease brush
• Fluffy blending brush 
• Flat shader brush
• Pencil brush
• eyeliner, mascara, lip gloss

M E T H O D:

Pat Naked all over lid with the flat brush. By patting the shadow, you won't have fall out all over your face. You can use your finger to pat on your lid. For the WNW palette, pat LID shade all over lid with flat brush.

Pat Buck into the outer corner of the eye with the flat shader brush. Using the fluffy brush, sweep Buck right above the crease. For WNW, sweep the CREASE shade into the crease with a fluffy brush.

Pat Hustle into the outer corner and then blend into the crease with the fluffy brush. For WNW, add a drop of water to your shadow to the CREASE shade to make the shadow darker/more pigmented. Pat into outer corner and blend into crease with fluffy brush.

Using the Pencil brush, sweep Virgin into the inner corners and under the brow to highlight and to give us the marshmallow color. Pat Virgin in the middle of the lid to open the eye. For WNW, take the LID shade and sweep it into the inner corners and under the brow for highlight. You can also pat the LID shade into the middle of the eyes to open up the eye.

Additional Steps:

• Use the pencil brush and sweep Buck and then Hustle under the bottom lashes (WNW CREASE shade).
• Line lashes, water and tightline with brown liner. 
• Add mascara and finish with lip gloss. I used Revlon Lip Butters in Creme Brulee, but the lip gloss I received in my Ipsy bag would work too!
