Yes! You're correct! Ok, admit you cheated and looked at the title of this post! Seriously, if you find yourself in a pinch, with
If you have dry hair, like me, do you know what won't work? Hairspray, or any hair product with alcohol in it won't work. Alcohol dries out the hair, which can be great for those with fine hair that need hold, but not for dry hair. Again, while there are many smoothing products out there that ease the frizz, just know you can grab one of these products if you need to!
More frizz tips:
- Rub a dryer sheer on your hair
- Use a metal hanger to discharge static
- Keep hair straight and frizz-free
- Frizz-free hair
- Add shine/stop frizz
- Tame flyaways
What's your favorite product to rid frizz?
Great tip :) when i used to go college, my hair was "acting up" a little and i used some of my hand cream to smooth it back lool.. My friend seemed really shocked but i didnt get why, most ingredients are similar to hair products anyway with water, emollients n oils lol x

I've done lotion in a pinch! I've tried olive oil, too, but wow do you have to wash your hair later! Next time I'll remember Chapstick, which seems like it would be less greasy.
ReplyDeleteI've used lotion before to coax my frizzies but I didn't know about the other ways. Thanks for sharing and feel better Elle!

I know zero about hair care, so this is fabulous! I had NO idea about the hairspray not helping things. I actually use a dryer sheet from the laundry room to tame the flyaways. Makes my hair smell fab.
ReplyDeleteI kind of like my frizz Xo Megan, www.TfDiaries.com
ReplyDeleteI'll have to try the dryer sheet tip!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I bought alcohol-free hairspray when I ran out, and it really has made SUCH a difference. My hair doesn't get as dry and frizzy anymore!
