Pictured: 2 gel syringes, boil-and-bite tray, whitening pen
- 2 Boil-and-Bite Trays for creating the upper and lower impressions
- Allow the trays to get soft, then place in mouth for impression
- 2 1.2ml syringes
- 22% carbamide peroxide and has been ranked #1 among the industry the past 6 years
- concentrated with no fillers
- gel has a slight mint flavor
- shelf-life approximately 18 months if stored in a cool, dry place
--I used these first, and had no sensitivity. I recommend these for those who don't want to wait for custom trays. What I was sent wasn't in a particular kit, but one that is similar (with loads more stuff!) is $54
- NovaNow Whitening Pen
- easy solution for anyone on the go.
- lasts for up to 30 whitening applications
- recommended for anyone with sensitive teeth.
- perfect way to maintain a beautiful smile in between custom at home whitening sessions
- will only whiten your natural teeth; will not whiten caps, veneers, crowns, fillings or dentures
- twist and click at the base until gel extrudes through the brush tip. Apply to visible teeth.
- $21
--I used this as a touch up, when traveling, and before events (going out, weddings, dinner with friends, etc.). --I recommend this if you have really sensitive teeth or just want the occasional touch up.

22% SuperNova Whitening Kit
- what sets this kit apart from others is that it features custom bleaching trays. Unlike the flexible molds, these are durable plastic, that are comfortable, and made by experienced dental lab technicians.
- trays are fabricated with a special 1mm reservoir (yet neglected in many teeth whitening products!). This reservoir ensures that the entire tooth is immersed and in constant contact with the active ingredient of the tooth whitening gel, producing consistent whitening results.
- this is of particular importance for the spaces between the teeth, the tops of your teeth, and even on the back side of your teeth (which affects the way light travels through the tooth and thus the visible shade of the tooth). Put simply, the 1mm reservoir of our home tooth whitening kits ensures the thorough whitening of your teeth.
- the molds are great to keep in case the trays are damaged, lost, etc.
- I wanted to share with you the process of how I did my impressions for the trays and my results:

--This is a great kit for brides (kits available for wedding party too).
--I saw results instantly with this! Instantly! I highly recommend this kit. I loved having a custom tray that fit all the spaces of my teeth, for example, I have a couple of crooked teeth that are usually hard to whiten.
--No sensitivity for me!
--$180

I drink a lot of tea and I find that my teeth are slightly on the yellow side. They're not awful but I want them to be whiter so I'll definitely look into this. Thanks for the post, it's very helpful!!

Your teeth always look gorgeous - I may need to try these out. I typically use CREST WhiteStrips, but I feel like I have to use them at least once every 3 months as opposed to once a year. :/

Amazing smile!!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Halloween doll!!!
I usually use the Crest Whitestrips but they make me teeth SO sensitive!

i never use whitening products because i am always sensitive to them...i like hearing thisi didn't cause you any!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you mentioned the sensitivity factor, because that was the first thing I thought when I saw this post. I have used Crest strips in the past but after only a couple of days my teeth KILL so I end up having to smile with my mouth closed, anyway... defeats the purpose! lol
ReplyDeleteYou do have nice teeth:) As someone who drinks 5 cups of coffee a day, I should start using this.
ReplyDeleteI need to look into this because I always have sensitivity problems with whiteners and you mentioned you didn't with this kit. Thanks for the review.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great whitening treatment at a great price. I did a couple in-office treatments in the past, and it's probably time to think about doing some type of whitening again soon. Happy Halloween!
ReplyDeleteGreat review- you're smile is gorgeous! :)

Your teeth always look SO white and beautiful, so it's good to know your secret! The no sensitivity is also an absolutely amazing feature. I'm a serious coffee/red wine drinker, so my smile does suffer from those habits -- I'm going to have to try this!
ReplyDeleteHave come across your blog for the first time hun and must say you have an awesome place here! Keep it up :)
ReplyDeleteMy husband just went to the dentist to have his teeth whitened. They look great! I wonder how this compares to dentist results.
ReplyDeleteYour teeth are amazing, will definitely have to look into this.
ReplyDeleteThat's quite the kit!
ReplyDeleteI want to try this!

I've always avoided whitening because of sensitivity. I'll have to give this a try sometime!
ReplyDeleteWow Elle your teeth look great, and after drinking tea and coffee on a regular basis, that's amazing how white your teeth are! This system seems extremely reasonable for whitening compared to going to a professional. :)

I've never tried a whitening kit but I need to do something about my teeth because I smoke and my teeth have definitely become yellower in the past few years. My dad's a dentist though. Maybe I should go visit him

I have a tray that I had made about a decade ago. I think I am going to try professional bleaching with my dentist. I have had horrible experiences with my teeth: a dentist when I was in my teens ruined all 8 of my molars, with 5 having been removed. Another dentist I recently went to did a RC that he should not have done the tooth was far too gone. That tooth was removed 4 months after I paid $1500 for a RC and I may now need additional surgery on my sinuses b/c the tooth as not removed a year ago as it should have been. I am going to get an implant for this one. My first. So I think my new dentist who is going to do the implant is going to professional bleach them before the implant so all matches. But needless to say I hate my teeth. And I am in the process of filing a complaint against my former dentist with the State Board of Health. But once all is said and done. I think NovaWhite could be a good way to maintain my teeth as I already have the tray.

It certainly worked on you as your teeth are super white! Thanks for sharing this! http://www.beauty4free2u.com
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome! I tried Crest White Strips a long time ago, but they didn't work well with my sensitive teeth. These sound much better — and your teeth look amazing!
ReplyDeleteYou do have amazingly white teeth so I am going to look into this asap!
