Winter Empties Video!


It's been a while since I've shared an "empties" post with you. In case you aren't familiar, "empties" means I share with you all of my beauty products that I've used up. While it's kinda awkward to share my trash with the world, it's kinda awesome because I can share with you a full review of the products. You get to see what worked, what didn't, what I would repurchase, and so on. I am sharing a picture of the empties below, but encourage you to watch the video (did you know I have a beauty YouTube channel?) where I go into details on each product.

    I haven't done an empties post in foreeeever, I have two shopping bags full of "trash" which I guess I don't need to put in quotes as it really is trash. I do like seeing other people do them, though, because you really get the low down on items rather than first reactions.

    What do you consider a mascara empty to be? Do you stop using it exactly after the 3 month expiration date or until it literally comes up empty? I never really know because I've never really gone empty, or just use it until it hardens which can be way over a year haha

    I love the Simple line even tho it sometimes might be a little too light? But then again it's better than being too harsh on the skin! The Suave body wash sounds very good right abt now for this winter~

    Great reviews! That ulta foundation sounds like how the revlon colorstay worked for me! Simple seems to be hit or miss for me, but I might look into that eye makeup remover because I'm still looking for a good one!

    Love all the mascara recommendations. I tend to always use the old Covergirl green and pink and the Voluminous mascara but I love checking out new ones. The secret deodorant actually makes me breakout in hives for some weird reason. I liked UD primer potion but prefer the Too Faced since I feel the wand makes me waste a lot of the product.

    I can't watch your video do to my flash is broken on my computer. My hubby try fixing it today. So I have to asked did you like the Secret Deodorant in Coconut. I just brought it and haven't smelt it or used it yet.

    I love the variety of mascaras you went through! I'm still on the hunt for a decent mascara, so your video was extremely informative! Also, I've always wondered how well the Ulta makeup held up, because I don't see too many people reviewing that stuf on youtube and I'm always curious when I pass by it in the store! Great reviews overall! :)
