I'm a huge fan of the Real Techniques brushes, so when I saw this palette a couple of months ago, I had to get it. Here's some quick info:
- $25
- Realtechniques.com
- 4 shadows, 1 gel liner, 1 blush, 1 cream highlight, 2 sheer glosses (currently there is a promotion of a free brush with order)
And here's a detailed review of the palette:
Here are some closeups of the palette:

Great detailed review, Elle. That's too bad the palette is not as amazing as the brushes though:( I remember Nic saying in one of the vids that the gel liner is a bit harder than the usual liners, but I can't remember how she worked with it.
ReplyDeletethis is too bad considering their brushes are awesome
ReplyDeleteThank you for your honest review of this product. At first look, it appears to have a terrific nude palette. I have never tried their brushes, I will look into this.

Awww... what a bummer! :/
ReplyDeleteOh that is too bad, it does look a wee bit cheap and generally when cosmetics are chip they pigments are off and not very saturated. But I like a pale blush.

Your reviews are always so very informative and honest. Truly appreciate that, Elle! T. http://tickledpinkwoman.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteThey are pretty colors, but they do look like colors you could get in other kits very easily.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the great review!! I will pass on this one :)
ReplyDeleteThe colors look lovely but the liner sounds horrible! Great review! xx

I'm in the market for a neutral palette for summer travel; sorry to hear that this one wasn't so great. An honest review is always appreciated.
ReplyDeleteSuch a shame about the quality because having it all in one box is just wonderful and makes life so easy. x

Sorry it was disappointing. The swatches do look like a lot of colors I have already. Great tips on using your finger rather than a brush.
ReplyDeletesorry to hear you didn't like this product. I love how you give honest reviews.
ReplyDeleteyikes! well at least now we know it's not a winner. xo jillian - cornflake dreams
ReplyDeleteI have issues with liner to begin with so I might have nightmares about this one!
ReplyDeleteI love your honest reviews - the $25 price tag caught my eye, but now I see it's not worth the low price! You do look gorgeous though.
ReplyDeleteThank you for this review, will give this a miss!
ReplyDeleteI love Real Techniques brushes, but none of their other products have ever really wow'ed me (is that a word?)
ReplyDeleteThat is a bummer about the palette but I appreciate your honest review!

ReplyDeleteThanks for the honest review!! Sad you didn't like it!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the honest review! I wanted this too but I am glad that I didn't purchase it now!
ReplyDeleteI love how this palette comes with a blush and highlight too!
ReplyDeleteHey love! I luv my RT brushes, but you win some you lose some! I think you just inspired my next post! luv ur face!! xoxo
ReplyDeleteThanks for the honest review had a feeling this maybe the case which is why I held back from ordering it x

Awww that sucks cause it looks like a nice pallet to have in your bag all the time.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the heads up… I am not familiar with RT brushes, but may have been lured into buying that palette since it looks so lovely!
ReplyDeleteWhat a bummer! I would have expected a better product from Real Techniques. I really don't like it when cream products are put in palettes anyway. The product is just going to dry out so much faster!
