It's no secret around here that fall is my favorite season. Am I the only one who's a fan? And with it, comes plenty of fun beauty trends to try. I've got a few ideas for fall lips, nails, and eyes today on the blog. I encourage you to try one (or more!) of these. Let me know your faves in the comments. Now pass me some pumpkin spice coffee, light some fall candles (Marshmallow Fireside for me!) and enjoy.
2--One of the most popular trends is the Kylie Jenner lip. This updated 90s lip look started in summer and is still going strong. While Kylie wears MAC liner in Whirl and MAC lipstick in Twig (I wore them in this tutorial), a much cheaper option is Prestige liner in Fleur and Nuance (Salma Hayek's line at CVS) lipstick in Dusty Rose. I also have been loving Milani lipstick in Plumrose.
3--Usually darker and matte lid colors are big in fall, but this year expect lots of metallic lids. I shared this look here with makeup from Pla Beauty, but try one of the new quads from L'Oreal or single shadows from Milani.
4--Red lips, especially crimson matte shades, are just gorgeous, as seen here. I have been obsessed with the new Maybelline Bold Matte lipsticks and want them all. Have you tried these?
5--Dark colors not your thing? Then you'll love rocking some nude nails. Think less pinky nude and more beige or skin tone. I love this one from Nails Inc, but this one from Bonne Bell is much more wallet-friendly.

I can't wait to start painting my nails in darker color. Also I rock a red lip all year around. I have started to branch out in to more darker colors. Like I just rocked a purple lip over the weekend.

ReplyDeleteI'm all about dark, vampy lips in the Fall/Autumn - in general, really, I'm tempted to wear them year round. I do love the Covergirl XL Gel Nail formula as wish I had picked up some more. I'll be going back to the States next month so I'll keep an eye out. :-)

I love metallic eyes, and that shadow quad looks so pretty. I plan to try the red lip trend this fall, since I've tried it before and just haven't found the right shade of lipstick. 2014 is the year. :)
