Too Faced Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar Palette--LOVE this! I have the original and think I may love this one more. Go see it in person.
Too Faced Hangover Rx Primer--Full of wonderful ingredients, this primer hasn't impressed me yet.
Sally Hansen 18K Gold Cuticle Eraser--A gel with fine gold particles that feel like sandpaper grit. Pretty but save your $.
L'oreal Long Lasting Lipgloss--Love how long this lasts!
L'Oreal Smokissime Liner--This huge, bulbous powdery liner is supposed to give an easy smokey eye. Still reviewing this one...
L'Oreal Silkissime Liner--Love this one. I used it in my New Mom Makeup (that no one watched. Boo!)
L'Oreal Brow Stylist Plumper--New mascaras in clear and other colors. This or That coming soon.
NYX:
Wonder Stick--Highlight and Contour--very creamy (T or T coming soon on this one)
Tinted Brow Mascara--Review coming soon (This or That)
Q10 Renew--A skin elixir that is white to renew skin (not purple). So far, it is like a thin moisturizer.
Rimmel:
BB Cream Radiance--Sinks in, making it useful for many skin types, and gives a glow without glitter.
Provocalips--Loving these long-wearing lippies. I'll be comparing them to the L'Oreal one pictured earlier.
Wet N Wild:
Kohl Liner--this was a dud. It tugged at my skin and felt like a regular cheap pencil liner.
Max Volume Plus Mascara--another dud, so far. It made my lashes look sparse, a feat I've never had happen to my lashes.
Covergirl Lip Lava--Gorgeous shimmery glosses.
Maybelline:
Master Prime Blur + Smooth--Not really seeing the blur effect, but it's a nice primer.
Master Prime Blur + Illuminate--SPF 30 with a slight pink glow. No blur on me but I like it so far.
Master Conceal in Lt-Med and Med--Really loving these concealers!
Master Graphic Liner--Huge felt tip liner. Good for a wing but too big for me. Watch the video to see it.
And speaking of the video, see everything in action, below:

I totally watched the new mom makeup video! haha There are mornings I need something super simple and quick, or I'm doing my makeup in the bathroom at work. I found it very inspiring. I've been looking for a new drugstore primer. I may have to look into these. Most primers tend to cause my skin to flake though. /:

I watch your videos on the weekend sometimes, or on the train if I remember. But I can't watch them at work and don't always have time to go back and do so. I do always read your text though.
ReplyDeleteHave you tried the Bite High Pigment lip pencil? I'm curious how the Rimmel stacks up against those. With the low price of Rimmel, I could probably do a private this or that!
I'm excited to see your review on the NYX Tinted brow mascara. That RT brush is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteLOL.. I think everyone at one time or another has fallen into the "just to LOOK" trap.. haha! <3 - www.domesticgeekgirl.com
ReplyDeleteGreat beauty haul!! That too faced palette looks lovely and so do the new rose gold real techniques brushes :) xx
ReplyDeleteHaha I love how this was "just a look" trip...I can't imagine what a real shopping trip looks like :) Great reviews though. Looking forward to a lot of the This or That that you mentioned!

I've already spent my Spring makeup budget - one of the things I didn't end up getting that I was so curious about are the RT Rose Gold brushes. I was thinking of just picking up one - the contour brush you feature - wondering if it's worth it. I'll check out your video. :-)

ReplyDeleteWow that is quite a haul! Lots of things that look like fun to try--I love that Too Faced palette. It has lots of neutral colors that I would wear. Sorry about the video!! A lot of times I read blogs at work so I rarely check out any videos. I appreciate that you do a visual portion too so that I can still read!! :)

ReplyDeleteIt''s always like this, "just to look" ends in joy buying nice things, why not! I love it! From all the products, I would love to try the Master Prier Illuminizing, and it is like sun blocks as well, so wow, I want that soon! Very nice to share this with us!

ReplyDeleteThe Too Faced Semi-Sweet palette is beautiful, I think I like the colors in this one even better than in the first one. I can't wait to hear more of your thoughts on the L'oreal eye liner & brow products, as well as the Rimmel Provacalips!

Nice haul! I've picked up a couple of these products and really need to try them. About the only thing I've tried that I saw above was the Maybelline Concealers. Oh my, I am loving it!
ReplyDeleteI got the TF Semi-Sweet palette and I'm absolutely in love! I haven't tried the blue shade just yet, but I can't wait to see how it looks incorporated in an evening eye. :)

Ha ha!! Cracking up about the RT contour brush doubling as a weapon!!! Too funny. I too have resisted the TF Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar, but I've managed to avoid seeing it in person. I know I'd want it! It's browns - be still my heart! I think the L'Oreal long-wearing lipstick you have is Neverending Nutmeg! I was carrying it around Walgreen's last night but decided to hold off until I read/watched more reviews since I generally don't like long-wearing lipsticks/glosses due to the uncomfortable feel. I can't wait to hear what you think! The Silkissime liners are FANTASTIC - agreed! They're pronounced "sil-kaseem" (like window sill + our Mayor); I heard it in a L'Oreal video and was like WHOAAA. Never would have called it that, lol! I love the TF Hangover Rx primer, so maybe it's a winner for oily/combo skin and not hydrating enough for drier skin?
ReplyDeleteLove your lip color in this video, btw!
Happy almost-Friday! :D
Yay for the haul. Now I know where to get a concealed weapon without having to get a permit. ;)
ReplyDeletewow that is one great haul..excited for the reviews..
ReplyDeleteWow. Sounds so much fun haul. Loved the mini reviews :)
