Must Try Beauty Buys: February

Hey you! Did you have a wonderful weekend? Do anything special for Valentine's Day? You already know what I've been up to! I'll get into all of it below. But first, I want to share some products that I think you might want to check out. Let me know which ones you're interested in!

So where am I? The Magic Kingdom, of course, for my annual trip. And speaking of Disney, the movie Cinderella is coming out in March. And Morgan Taylor has released polishes just for the movie. How cute is the My Inner Princess Collection? There are six polishes, and I got to try out If the Slipper Fits and The Best Ballgown Ever. Cute, right? The 2015 collection from Morgan Taylor will be available for a limited time beginning February 2015 at select salons nationwide, www.loxabeauty.com and at www.morgantaylorlacquer.com. The suggested retail price is $8.50 each.

Lady Gaga – EAU DE GAGA. Dangerously daring, this exciting new scent captures the pure essence of Gaga, appealing to both women and men. EAU DE GAGA is built around a beautiful heart of white violet, an intoxicating flower that fuses female and male attractions.  The scent opens with an invigorating burst of sparkling lime to counterbalance the woody-floral intensity, and evolves into a sensual trail based on leather. ($34.00, mass retailers). It smells SO GOOD. It doesn't give me a headache, which is hard for me to find in scents.

Dentists and professionals recommend a therapeutic mouthwash – one that not only freshens breath but also works to eliminate the cause of it.  They also note to look for products that don’t feature alcohol and are instead formulated with xylitol, which prevents bacteria from metabolizing.

Keeping those do’s and don’ts in mind, naturally friendly oral care brand, hello Products offers a Mouthwash that not only guarantees minty fresh breath but also packs power without the burn to leave your mouth happy, moisturized and clean! Available in three delicious flavors, including SupermintPink Grapefruit Mint and Mojito Mint. hello Mouthwash is vegan, cruelty-free and don’t contain any harsh chemicals, dyes and artificial sweeteners. Some flavors I preferred more than others, but they did the job! At Target

Korres Greek Yoghurt--This deeply moisturizing Greek Yoghurt Moisturizing Face Cream contains full-fat, greek yogurt—a natural source of proteins, vitamins, and minerals to nourish and provide instant hydration to dry skin. It is enriched with vitamin E, olive oil concentrate, and macadamia nuts for antioxidant protection, and can be used every day as a part of your daily skincare routine (Available for $36 at Sephora.com). It doesn't feel heavy on the skin and sinks right in!

emerginC grape stem cell, white tea + seaweed body butter ($45)
The grape stem cell, white tea + seaweed body butter nourishes and softens the skin to combat roughness, even skin tone and fight the appearance of aging skin. Available online via www.emerginc.com

Mad Hippie Cream Cleanser ($15.99)
The perfect winter cleanser, the Mad Hippie Cream Cleanser gently balances skin and removes free radicals and impurities, while moisturizing and healing. Free of harmful chemicals, parabens, synthetic color and fragrance, this gentle cleanser is formulated with 5 actives including jojoba, green tea, macadamia oil and orchid extract. Available online via www.madhippie.com and select Whole Foods Markets

Topganic Treat Hair Masks ($11)
The Topganic Treat Hair Masks are available in three oil-infused variations - Baobab Oil from Africa for inflated hair and split ends; Obliphica Oil from Russia for thin, brittle & color treated hair; and Argan Oil from Morocco for dry & colored hair. The nurturing masks replenish hair’s moisture level, while nourishing the hair fiber with crucial vitamins. The Treat Hair Masks provide flexibility, shine and softness for hair. Available online via www.topganic.com

Scalisi Skincare Eye Cream ($55)
Suitable for all skin types, the lightweight, non-irritating Eye Cream is scientifically proven to reduce the look of fine lines, crow’s feet and under eye puffiness.  Jojoba, macadamia nut and avellana seed oils moisturize, while white team extract brightens and soy proteins regenerate. www.scalisiskincare.com

Not Your Mother's De Ja Vu Do--This light-weight cream will block humidity, repel dirt and oil while adding body and flexible hold. It's made with conditioners for long-lasting frizz control and shine. $9 at drugstores, ULTA, and Walmart. Really have been impressed with this one!

Roloxin Lift immediately reduces the appearance of both wrinkles and pores, giving wrinkles a smoother look and texture and more even skin tone. It’s patented formula leaves a latticework of skin-tightening silica particles to create a bright, smooth, luminous appearance, which is the ideal base to start your makeup application. After just a few minutes of application, Roloxin Lift lasts for up to 24 hours. It is pricey but it is AMAZING! It really works and it perfect for those special occasions.

Togospa Society--I am a HUGE fan of the Togospa under eye treatments. These pads really work for puffy eyes and come in 3 "flavors." They're THE BEST eye pads I've ever tried. I even use them on my legs for razor burn or on my hand after a curling iron burn. They now have a face version with refreshing collagen gel masks that I am also crazy about. It feels so, so refreshing. But the best part is that they are now offering a monthly subscription box. The Togospa Society box delivers these products and a special gift (I got a moisturizing candle) for $40 a month.

So those are a few of my must-try buys for the month!
Let me know which ones you'd try!

  21. I love the Not Your Mother's line of products! They work really well in my hair, and my daughter's except the hairspray (which we use A LOT of for competitions) smells awful. It's the only thing that's holding me back from trying more of their products. I'm afraid for the smell.

  22. I did not know Lady Gaga had a perfume line. I guess all the pop stars do. That's interesting that it can be for both men and women.
