April Must- Try Beauty Buys

I've got A LOT to share with you today, so I'll keep the intro short and sweet. Let's get into some of my must-try beauty buys for April. By the way, I can't believe April is almost over...I think I say that every month. I'm doing quick reviews, since y'all like them, but I go into more detail in the video down below.

Vince Camuto Bella perfume--One of the prettiest bottles and a gorgeous scent to go with it! Bella Vince Camuto incorporates notes of Nectarine Blossoms, Italian Bergamot, and Jasmine Water mingled with a base of White Amber to create a vibrantly warm, whimsical bouquet. Celebrating the allure, passion, and sensuality concealed within all women, Bella transports the senses to sprawling floral gardens, the remembered scent of one’s object of desire and scenes of unforgettable beauty. $78

London Soho New York Disney Princess Collection--Beauty tools based on Disney princesses? Yes! Belle Enchanted Eyes Brush Set 2-Piece ($12.99, Walgreens) Medium Fluff Brush – Short round shape creates depth and detail. Large Fluff Brush – Soft, fluffy bristles allow shadow to glide across eyelids with ease. Flat Angled Liner Brush– Angled shape creates flawless lines and can be used with powder, gel or cream liner. I am on a quest to get the rest of the princesses! Run and get them all!

Living Proof--Jennifer Aniston is a co-owner of this brand and for good reason. They have some stellar hair products. I've been a fan of their Frizz Nourishing Styling Cream and Shampoo, Conditioner for years. If you have fine hair you will love the Blowout spray. Get drier hair fast, with body and bounce, and heat protectant. It's a win!

Nudestix is one of my fave new brands. It's everything you need for a natural look in pencil form! GENIUS! Here are some of the new items (look for them at Sephora):
Moisture Pencil (Skin): A non-greasy balm in pencil form that sticks on to dry, flaky and irritated skin for instant (ahhh!) relief!
Clean Up Pencil (Skin): A little magic eraser for your skin for makeup mistakes.
Lip + Cheek Pencil Dual: Our Lip + Cheek pencils now come in 4 of our best-selling shades: Mystic/Whisper or Soul/Flesh.

Rootstix--quick-fix hair touch up pen announces two new colors to help eliminate grey and extend color between appointments. No brushes, no smudging, no clumps - ROOTSTIX is easy to apply and offers temporary color for that uncomfortable time between hair appointments. The sleek pen allows you to get to the root of your color anytime, anywhere. No buildup in hair. Find these on Amazon!

Japonesque--I have been a huge fan of their products for years, including their brush cleansers and lipsticks. This lipgloss is what I'm wearing in the video. And the retractable lip brush has become a necessity for me. I need a backup asap. I cannot say enough about this well-loved brand. Go to ULTA and get them now!

Milani Fierce Foil Lipglosses are formulated with dazzling multidimensional pearlescent which captures light and makes lips pop for a chic, shimmering touch of shine. The unique formula softens, smoothes, and shines while creating intense pigment with the sheer texture that is not tacky or messy. Added bonus – they smell delicious! The Fierce Foil Lipglosses are available for a limited time at CVS stores for $4.99.

Lady Gaga Eau de Gaga: Built around a beautiful heart of white violet, this scent opens with an invigorating burst of sparkling lime to counterbalance woody-floral intensity, and evolves into a sensual trail based on leather ($34.00, mass retailers).

BeyoncĂ© Heat Wild Orchid: The fragrance opens with a sparkling allure of the tantalizing trio of pomegranate, coconut water and boysenberry. Honeysuckle and blooming magnolia frame the butterfly orchid to create a bold bouquet. The base showcases simmering sexy notes of blond woods, skin musks and gilded amber adding to its sensuality (15ml/0.5 oz $20, mass retailers).

Nautica LIFE: With notes of sea salt, marine seamoss and natural violet lead, Nautica LIFE unleashes a revitalizing splash of energy while creating a blissful feeling of magnetism and seduction. Perfect for dad! ($62.50, Macy’s).

Balm Chicky Balm Balm--Yes, I'm kinda singing the name! These lips balms are so fun! Hot off the heels of being on Shark Tank that aired on Feb 3rd, they've been picked up by Target Stores and will be on shelves by mid-April! They are super big, super moisturizing and the best part? THE "Friend End" tube. Flip the cap so you can let others use your lip balm without cooties! ;) $7

*This time around, all products were sent for consideration, but I have SO MUCH MORE to share with you in the video below (including a mini-Target haul)!
Visit here if you can't see above:

Extra Elle:

  • I used different cameras, since these pics were taken over the past couple of months, so the picture quality will vary amongst the photos. And apparently there's a few seconds of the video where I talk like a chipmunk that I didn't realize. That's the life of a blogger, right?
  • I need a Monday do-over! I didn't get everything done!
  • What did you think of the video?
