Given recent life events, sleep and I are doing this weird dance. I either have a hard time falling asleep or I will have nights where I fall asleep quickly but wake up periodically and then give up around 4am. The lack of sleep is doing a number on my skin. And I feel like everyone is noticing.
My least-favorite phrase to hear is "You look tired." Am I right? I've heard it from friends, family, and a certain five year-old. And when the kids notice, it's time to do something. And y'all, I have finally found something that is helping.
Enter my latest favorite: Garnier Ultra-Lift® Miracle Sleeping Cream™ Anti-Age + Anti-Fatigue Night Cream.
Have you seen this yet? It is a new hydrating face cream that helps fight those signs of fatigue (hello! me!) for younger-looking skin. Thanks to the anti-aging formula, signs of dull, dry and tired looking skin are reduced. So what's in this cream? Lavender essential oil, rare plant extracts and adenosine (a form of caffeine) help to create a wonderful gel-cream concoction. It's light, not greasy, and has a pleasant scent.
How do you use it? Before bed, rub in a pearl-sized amount onto skin. Normally, I slather my face up in cream, but not with this product. A little truly goes a long way. I know a lot of us appreciate not having that heavy cream feeling on our faces! This is so light, making it perfect for any time of year. Wake up in the morning to a refreshing feel and softer skin.
Instantly you'll notice hydrated skin and a more rested look. Over time, these will benefits will be even more noticeable. Garnier's Ultra-Lift® Miracle Sleeping Cream can be purchased for $16.99 at mass retailers (I purchased mine at a drugstore).
Here I am on 4 hours of sleep. I am wearing bb cream, a lip/cheek tint, mascara, and a little liner to give you a natural look to show the effectiveness of Garnier's Miracle Sleeping Cream.
Can't get your nightly beauty sleep? Garnier has you covered with prizes that will make you look like you didn't miss a wink! Enter the Sleep With This Sweepstakes now for the chance to win Garnier's Ultra-Lift® Miracle Sleeping Cream, a Westin Heavenly® Bed and more. ReplyDeleteI'm excited to try this:) also getting one for my best friend!! And you look beautiful!
ReplyDeleteOK so you do NOT look tired! You look gorgeous and should be proud of yourself for how you have handled your losses recently(: I have been praying for you. I am on the hunt for a good night cream. I have tried several samples and am experiencing everything from break outs to little white bumps under my eyes! I plan to pick this Garnier product up and try it ! Thanks Elle! Susan
ReplyDeleteGarnier is a nice brand and this creme seems to be excellent! It's amazing, you look like if you had a 10 hour-sleep, and in fact you slept for 4 hours! You look relaxed for sure, so I am glad that you showed this creme here. And the price is also good! Nevertheless, I hope you can sleep well soon!

Oh, I need this product in my life - I rarely get more than 5 hours of sleep a night. You look gorgeous, Elle!

You look tired or you look sick is the WORST right?!?! I hate when coworkers say that to me, it's like really? Do you think I don't feel tired? Thanks for reminding me.
ReplyDeleteYOu look great in your picture.
I've been using this cream for about a month and absolutely love it!!! The thickness is really one of my favorite parts because it's deceptively light like you said!!! xo, Biana - BlovedBoston
ReplyDeleteI could certainly use this!!

I really want to try this out! Lavender oil sounds so nice as part of the ingredients! Will have to pick this up soon!
ReplyDeleteMy husband use to work 3rd shift and I would have anxiety about being home alone at night and my sleep was horrible and I would wake up every hour or two. You could definitely notice my lack of sleep at the time!
I was a bit skeptical when I saw this at Walgreen's. It was a little more than what I'd typical spend on a drugstore product, but since, I've heard nothing but rave reviews. It is the worst to hear someone say you look tired. They might as well say: "you look like crap."
ReplyDeleteI need a gallon jar of this please :)
ReplyDeleteI could really use this since lately I'm having the same problem! In the last couple of days I've been waking up at 5am and no matter how hard I try I simply can't go back to sleep :(

Nice! I need this. I have to be at work every morning at 5 am, and ALWAYS look tired.
ReplyDeleteThis is the first I'm hearing of this product - and in general, I've not seen many moisturizers what this specific target concern but similar, I suppose. The price ain't bad either. I'm glad it's been helping, hun!
ReplyDeleteThis sounds great! I need to start using a good night cream, so I will go out and look for this one. I hope you are able to start sleeping better over time.
ReplyDeleteI could totally use this lately! I love Garnier products!
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a nice cream. I think lack of sleep has been taking a toll on my skin too. And I HATE when people say, "you look tired" who the hell says that and thinks its ok?...I'm like thanks for basically telling me that I look like shit.
ReplyDeleteI feel like I always look tired these days. I'll have to look for it at the store.
