Extra Elle:
- I'm sick so I spent the weekend not doing much, honestly! How's that for an exciting weekend? But seriously I did get out twice: once for a milkshake (for my throat, I swear) and I did meet up with friends for dinner al fresco. The weather was wonderful that night with a soft breeze, twinkly lights, good conversation, and a sleepy pup on my foot.
- Speaking of a sleepy pup, Charlie has been having really bad sneezing fits. He went to the vet Friday and got a shot for his allergies. He is also on meds, which are helping a little. I don't know why he is being bothered by them now, as opposed to any other year, but as long as he's well, I'm happy!
- $100 Sephora Giveaway (seriously, why haven't you entered yet? What would you buy?)
- $100 Visa Giftcard (for those not into makeup or who just want $100!)
great purchases! I've heard really great things about the new Kat Von D palette, I'm trying to restrain myself since I have enough neutrals for now lol

You look good with those products.

I'm looking forward to watching this video! I bought the Kat Von D eye palette too! I love the Armnai foundation & am lusting after that Becca highlighter! xx
ReplyDeleteSo many great products! I had been curious about that Blur Pencil! And sorry to hear Charlie is having so many problems with his allergies and that you spend the weekend sick. Hope you both are feeling better!

Both of the eyeshadow palettes are gorgeous! I am all about neutral shadows. I really want to try that blur pencil, too. It sounds like a great product!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great haul Elle! I really want to get the Too Faced matte palette. Hope you feel better soon :)
ReplyDeleteYou just tempted me to buy some make up.. lovely haul :)
ReplyDeleteBeen having my eye on the Too Faced Natural Matte Palette! :)
ReplyDeleteI've tried Becca before and did love the products, but for some reason, I don't think I've seen the line in our local Sephora. I had to order the stuff online. Waaaaaah!Anyhoo, thank you for taking the time to do these great reviews, Elle.
ReplyDeleteWow, stunning make up. *__*
ReplyDeleteNew outfit is online...
Hey you've got to treat yourself every once in awhile! I am excited about that mascara! I got it in a KC Fashion Week swag bag, but haven't tried it yet!!

ReplyDeletelivingoncloudandreanine.blogspot.com
Good for you for treating yourself!! And what a good haul it was!
ReplyDeleteYou had a great haul, lady! I was hemming and hawing over a piece from sephora but just didn't splurge because I've already splurged on a few things this month. Very excited to investigate some of your purchases, though!
ReplyDeleteSephora is such a fun place to shop! You look great! Hard to believe you're not feeling well. Your skin is just glowing. Must be some good foundation and under eye brightener! :0)
ReplyDeleteWhoa! You got some great stuff!! I was hoping you would like the brightening powder a bit more. I am in search of a good one. My skin is totally lifeless after winter. Thanks for the Benefit review! I have been wanting to pick up that mascara for my girl. She is learning to apply and I thought this would be a good start. Blessings! Susan
ReplyDeleteI love your makeup in the video. Thanks for the review. Sephora is a dangerous store for me, I just love makeup. I did a little damage during the sale as well. How can you not?
ReplyDeleteSo many amazing things!! Can't wait to hear how you like them!! Aww I hope Charlie starts feeling better!!

Love all St. Tropez products - they add just the right amount of "tan" to a look! www.GlamKaren.com
ReplyDeleteI have been wanting to try the GA foundation for the longest time - I just love all the reviews I've heard! The brightening corrector sounds awesome too! xo, Biana - BlovedBoston
ReplyDeleteWe'll have to try the vanilla face powder. Sounds amazing!

So much great stuff from sephora!!! I hope you start feeling better!
ReplyDeleteMelanie @ meandmr.com
Oh so many beautiful goodies Elle! That Kat von D palette screams my name! xoxo, Sissi
ReplyDeleteVery nice products, indeed! I love Sephora and yes, with a discount, even better! Now that you said you had the reddest face after using the bi-Phase peel, cause I have very sensitive skin, and even though you advise to leave for 3 min then (I also get distracted) I would be afraid, but can give it a try. I would looove to try the esame Translucent Brightening Vanilla Face Powder - I love face powders that are translucent! I just bought one on the weekend, at Sephora, such a coincidence! And the Benefit Roller Lash mascara is on my list!

Love a good make-up haul on a Monday! Such a great tutorial, as always! I hope you're having an awesome Monday! XO

I'm glad you were able to get out a couple times this weekend, despite being sick. That Giorgio Armani Foundation is definitely on my wish list. I've been looking for something light, but that offers better coverage than the mineral powder I've been using.
ReplyDeleteWow that's quite a haul--how fun! You are the queen of the palettes--always so many fun ones I'd love to try! I hope you're feeling better and the milkshake worked its magic :)
ReplyDeleteI'm interested in so many of the products above! I hope you are feeling better. Do the allergy shots work for Charlie? Jax is on allergy drops and has been on them for 5 months and they aren't working so far...they said it could take up to a whole year to work...ugh..Going to watch your video!
ReplyDeleteSooo much goodness! I searched your site first(!!) for how-to cover up a blemish and I must say, using the concealer brush versus my finger made a huge difference and looking more natural (and less cakey!). Cheers!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Sephora's eyeliner. It's so good.

First of all, That Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk foundation looks gorgeous on you!! I don't usually wear foundation, but if it can make my skin glow like yours, I'm all about it! I also did a Sephora VIB (mini) haul, too! Can't pass up that 15%! I also got the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Moonstone and I cannot wait to try it! I'm so happy to hear that it's as amazing as everyone says it is! I was also intrigued by the Besame vanilla powder, but after hearing Tati from Glam Life Guru say she wasn't impressed with it, I passed on it, and now you've confirmed...it just falls flat as a product.
ReplyDeleteIn my mini haul, I also purchased the Make Up For Ever Pro Sculpting Duo in Pink Beige, NARS Audacious Lipstick in Anna, and two Moondust Eyeshadows from Urban Decay......oh there are so many more things on my wish list, but the wallet doesn't permit! The Kat Von D eye palette didn't really catch my eye, but that contour palette is a must, isn't it? And that Sephora contour brush to go with it....I think I need them both.... haha
Love your pics, especially UD! Hope you feel better and that Charlie's allergies are under control!

Ahhh jealous I haven't been beauty shopping in so long! I've never tried any of those products either. The Kat Von D palette looks pretty awesome though.

You got some really great stuff Elle! I know this is crazy, but I didn't buy 1 thing during the sale, I kept looking through the website but I just wasn't feeling anything I saw, so it just expired without me using it! :(
ReplyDeleteLOVE Sephora! It's just so addicting and all the extra freebie samples? LOVE! Great review and I hope you're feeling better!
ReplyDeleteTo Hell In A Handbag
Love this haul! I would love a review of the Murad Invisiblur after you've used it for a while. I don't really like silicone primers either, so I had high hopes for this. By the sound of it in the video, I'm not sure it's going to be for me either. :(
ReplyDeleteI am loving this video because I did the same too. Would you be interested in doing a YouTube collab video? My email is adaatude@gmail.com
ReplyDeletePS you are NOT an old lady & there are no wrinkles on your face!! xx, Ada
Great picks! I've been toying with the idea of buying the Kat Von D Shade & Light Eyes palette. It looks so perfect, but I know I don't need it.
ReplyDeleteHope you're feeling better!

What a great great haul Elle! I really am dying to have all of the Nudestix products! They are so cool and this just makes me want them more! I hope you and Charlie are feeling better!
ReplyDeleteYou got so much awesome stuff!!! I would love to see a post on that Kat Von D shadow palette, your eyes look gorgeous with it on!!! I love Too Faced and that little palette is something I may have to look at also. I haven't tried any Becca stuff but I have got to find something for under my eyes. They are just awful!!! And I have a problem with stuff creasing under them which you said that one didn't crease for you. Hope you feel better!
ReplyDeleteI use my Becca Highlighter ever single day! Religiously! It is amazing!
ReplyDeletexo, Kyla - KyMarieC
Love this Elle! You have a great blog and love your insta and Charlie too!
ReplyDeleteLindy
Great Spring haul. Sephora should pay you!
ReplyDeleteOoh, I love the colors in those palettes. They are nice and neutral, something I'd buy myself. :)

I love neutrals so the Kat Von D and the Too Faced palettes look worth a try. I have never seen a contouring brush like that before looks like a perfect fit for contouring. Hope you and Charlie feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to try out some of the stuff you got!!!
ReplyDeleteWrinkles and a cold? You'd never know! Your makeup looks perfect. I have really bad dark circles too so I will have to check out the Becca corrector.
ReplyDeleteI can't quite you eyeshadow palettes! lol thanks for the review of the RMS and becca under eye luminizer. I too suffer from dark circles so I always like an under eye highlighter and all the magazines recommend RMS but I haven't been able to justify the purchase.
ReplyDeleteI avoided the sale because Sephora takes my money every week lol
