November Beauty Faves & Chit Chat

Spot the E?

Happy December! Did I just type that? *checks calendar* Yes, another month has flown by, so let's do a recap for November. How was your November?

First, how cute is my mug? My youngest sis bought it for me for my birthday--see the pumpkin and the E? I thought it was appropriate to end the month and the season with.

November was a bittersweet month for me. I share more in the video including my Thanksgiving and more.



So yes, the month was very hard, but I'm glad I made it. Something that definitely cheered me up this month is this Box of Sunshine--see how nearly everything is yellow? A huge thanks to LaNae for sending that! Isn't that sweet?

And now for some beauty faves--I kept it short this month, but would really like to include more faves--let me know what you think:

November Beauty Faves:

  • Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base--excellent for dry skin
  • Ofra Liquid Lipstick in Laguna Beach--Very matte lip color that lasts all dang day
  • MAC Please Me--Gorgeous matte nude and look at that shiny purple tube?
  • No. & Lift & Luminate Foundation--Use with a dampened beauty blender for glowing skin.
  • Rimmel 107--Who doesn't love this berry color? Since I'll be wearing red a lot in December, I wanted a change for the month.
  • QTica Extending Top Coat--I got this at Bed, Bath, & Beyond. It works SO well. Love it.

    Loving your hair!!! That cell phone case looks super fun!!! I love glitter :) Rimmel has to be one of my top favorites for lip products, though the mattes sometimes are too drying on my lips. I bought a lip primer from NYX a while back, wonder if that would help. That No7 brand has been catching my eye lately, I will have to try something out in it. Happy December, Elle!!!

    I can imagine this time of year would be hard - but it's good to refocus the sadness of missing people into cherishing their memory. Sometimes what can you do aside from tell yourself "onwards and upwards!"

    Good tip on the face base and top coat! I am always looking for anything to extend the life of my nail polish and help with my dry skin! Loving that cell phone case too!

    I just tried the Ofra liquid lipsticks yesterday and I really liked it. My sister is obsessed with that MAC shade. I think I need to add it to my collection too. Can't wait to watch the video later!

    Really need to get on that Ofra bandwagon apparently. Their products are blowing up lately. I really like the Boots Beautifully Matte foundation, but the color closest to me is slightly off. I always have to mix it to warm it up a bit. I have such a weird skin tone. haha.
