As much as I love to share new and hyped about products, today I'm showing you some new products you might not have heard of yet. I've got something for all: high end, drugstore, face, hair, lips, and nails. Tell me which ones you want to try!
FACE:
Pixi is one of those brands that just doesn't disappoint. I was such a fan of their Glow Tonic, that I couldn't wait to try these 2 new Glow products.
First up is the Glow Mud Mask--$28, Target--If you've got 15 minutes, then you've got time for glowing skin. This mask absorbs oil, draws out impurities, and fights breakouts, thanks for Kaolin, sea salt, ginseng, and aloe vera. This will be best for oily and combo skin, but remember, you don't have to use any mask all over your face. I like using this on my nose, which can get oily.
Glow Mud Cleanser--$24, Target--5% glycolic acid exfoliates skin, plus there's hyalutonic acid, aloe vera, and olive oil. I've enjoyed using this on my "heavy" makeup days.
Why You Must Try: Great for cleansing and clearing out skin but without drying out skin. Winter glow!
I get asked all the time about affordable brushes--and I've got some to share. I got to try the newest face brushes from Wet N Wild.
This new line of brushes (17 tools in total) are made of an exclusive thermoplastic polymer complex, which is designed to mimic the small breaks and imperfections in natural hair, making these brushes as effective as brushes made of animal hair, yet PETA certified and vegan. I've used WNW brushes before, but these are so much softer. I really love the brushes on each end the most. Great starter brushes for $0.99 up to $2.99
Why You Must Try: You want to try brushes but don't want to spend a lot.
Cushion foundations are SO huge right now. The NEW Skin Perfecting Air Cushion Compact by Hydroxatone is the latest offering. Think of it as a compacted BB cream, which also contains SPF 40, and gives a natural finish.
I like this on normal to slightly oily skin best, and it is great for on-the-go touch ups. Available in Light, Medium, and Tan at www.hydroxatone.com.
Why You Must Try: Light foundation application in 1 easy-to-use product
LIPS+NAILS:
I have been wanting to try this line, available at Walgreens, for ages. I mean, LOOK at that packaging! So let me introduce you to Nonie Creme Colour Prevails. Nonie is a manicurist that has a beauty line for nails, face, eyes, and lip.
polish, lip gloss |
First is this gorgeous polish (nail lacquer). It's not just pretty, but ergonomically designed brush. There are 35 shades and it's 5-free. $8
For lips, I got to try out the Paint and Varnish Matte Lip Colour and Top Coat. I've been obsessed with matte lips this winter (huge drugstore liquid lipsticks post coming soon), so I couldn't wait to try this one. These are available in 10 shades with a non-sticky top coat for a glossy finish, if you prefer. $12
Why You Must Try: Cute packaging and a versatile line of products
HAIR:
Why You Must Try: Winter weather is harsh on hair, so give it some much-needed TLC
NAILS:
I could not wait to try the new Wet N Wild 1 Step Wonder Gel polishes. I received 3 shades, but one broke during transit, hence the polish on the bottle.
Anyway, these don't require any UV lamp and only need one coat! While they boast of 2 weeks worth of wear, I was easily able to get 1 week without using a top coat. I really liked these. They remove like a regular polish, and that's what the finish reminded me of.
Why You Must Try:
Why You Must Try:
- Because you don't want to paint your nails as often.
Which ones would you try?
Extra Elle:
- I am on the hunt for breakfast recipes (no eggs please) that are filling. Let me know if you've got any you'd like to share.
I've never tried Pixi products before and that mask sounds amazing! I also want those brushes!

ReplyDeleteGreen Fashionista
I've seen Pixi around but have never tried them out but that first mask has me intrigued plus I love that it's available at Target. I can't wait for your upcoming lipstick post because I've been loving matte lips this winter too! xoxo
ReplyDeleteI am so in need of new makeup brushes! I've been searching for a couple weeks now and they are all so expensive!! Love these reasonably priced ones!

I'm going to buy some of those brushes next time I see them in store! I basically have zero brushes, ok I have one tiny brush but thats it. I need more. Love that that shampoo is sulfate free. My hairdresser can always tell if I've been using a shampoo with a sulfate in and then scolds me. I need to stick to sulfate free.
ReplyDeleteHave you tried making a hash for breakfast? Just cook up some white and sweet potatoes, add in onions and peppers and spinach or kale. So good! I like to add eggs, but if you're against them leave them out :) I'll sometimes add a side fruit salad too!
ReplyDeleteOoh I so want to try the Wet n Wild Brushes - they look fab!
ReplyDeletexx
I'm interested in the shampoo! I've been looking for something new to try
ReplyDeleteLove these suggestions! I really want to get the WnW brushes!
ReplyDeleteI love these new finds! I've used a Pixi concealer in the past and really enjoyed it. Totally want to check out those masks.
ReplyDeleteIf I'm not eating eggs for breakfast, I'll make a green smoothie with ice, almond milk, peanut butter, spinach, and banana.
Dang wet n wild is killing it! I need to try that polish ASAP!

Loving the pink polish!
ReplyDeleteFlorals&Smiles
Those brushes!!! I NEED! I'm so happy they are vegan friendly!
ReplyDeleteBreakfast - my fav is greek yogurt with honey & fruit. Greek yogurt has great protein that keeps you full so long!
Oooh! I definitely want to try the brushes and Nonie polish! How hard was it to get off the Wet N Wild gel polish? I hate making an effort when removing my nail color.
ReplyDeletePixie always has great products, my skin is dying this Winter so i'm going to try the mask.
ReplyDeleteGIRL, I was just telling my sister that I need to find something for breakfast. I'm not a huge breakfast eater, but I know I need to eat something. I hope someone shares something good. I want to try those Wet n Wild brushes. I need more brushes like I need a hole in the head, but they look really nice and super affordable!
ReplyDeleteThe Pixi masks sound great! Also, the unwash product is very interesting.
ReplyDeleteI hope my Target gets those Wet N' Wild polishes soon! Even if I can get 3 days out of them I will call it a win!
ReplyDeleteI so agree about Pixi....can't really go with that brand. And because I'm a cheapo, I would really like to try those WetNWild brushes:)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Pixi products. And, I never thought about applying a mask just to a problem area... I have combination skin and what a great idea. I didn't even know Pixi made masks, I only have a couple of products from them that I got with Ipsy.

ReplyDeleteI'm a big fan of Pixi products, they are a great bang for their buck. I need to try the Wet and Wild gel polish and the Unwash shampoo and conditioner. I'm in need of a new shower hair care.

i am definitely intrigued by those wet n wild nail polishes, especially without the uv light and only one coat. 1 week is pretty fabulous in my book!
ReplyDeletei have never tried a pixi product, i'll have to check them out next time i'm in target.
my favourite breakfast is a smoothie - i just throw milk, a banana, strawberries, blueberries and spinach in a blender and voila. easy peasy. otherwise i might eat oatmeal with blueberries. and sometimes i skip breakfast, i know it's bad! oops.

ReplyDeleteThose pixi products sound really nice!! I'm going to have to try those, I especially want to try the mask! And my favorite filling breakfast is making overnight oats (or fridge oats). they are delicious and super easy, make them the night before and they are ready in the morning!
ReplyDeleteI love pixi, but I have never tried those cleansers! Going to try them ASAP. :)
ReplyDeleteI like the sound of those get nail polishes! I'm definitely going to check them out at Ulta. Sucks one of the bottles broke during shipping.
ReplyDeleteSo I've used the Glam Glow Masks a few times, and I love the way my face feels afterwards, but they're so expensive! I think that the Glow Mud masks would be a great alternative!
ReplyDeleteI love Pixi glow tonic too so i am going to have to try those next!!! I have never seen Nonie before, I wonder if mine doesn't have it? That packaging is gorgeous and I love the color of the polish you got. I will be on the look out for those wnw polishes too!

I saw all the beauty bloggers unboxing that Pixi mud mask on Snapchat ;) Definitely intrigues me. I'm exploring more Pixi products but I don't have a Target near me so I don't get a chance to try too much :(
ReplyDeleteWhat a great price on those brushes! I've been eating the banana nut breakfast "biscuit" {more like a bar} that I found at Aldi. They are quick and very filling!
