I became obsessed with nail polish and nail art from a very young age, as I watched my Grandmother do nails in her salon. I can remember the very first nail art I ever had: a tiny rhinestone on one finger, a special treat my Grandmother would sometimes do for me and my sister. I still have that same enthusiasm for nails today.
Nail art doesn't have to be complicated. It should be fun, whether you do these on all nails, or just one, like my rhinestone accent nail as a kid. And you don't need to be a pro to do it. Here are 10 EASY nail tutorials you need to try:
Flash Tattoo Nails--Cute for Coachella or any time of year. Use flash tattoos and clear polish.
Faux Marble Nails/Faux Watercolor Nails--If you've got some plastic wrap and polish, you can do this.
Marble Christmas Nails--I know what you're thinking--but trust me these are easy. Use warm water and drops of your favorite colors. Swirl and dip. You can do this.
Glitter Heart Nails--A glue pen and glitter make any design you'd like.
Snakeskin Nails--Use tulle or old stockings for this fun effect.
Zodiac Constellation Nails--Glitter polish and paint pen make this easy!
Watercolor Nails--Use Sharpie markers and rubbing alcohol to create this effect.
Orange Creamsicle Nails--My yummy take on the reverse french mani/negative nail space trend.
Marble Nails--Keep those Sharpies ready to create this look--much easier than painting by hand.
Donut Sprinkle Nails--Just use a toothpick to make these sprinkles!
