Lancome Juicy Shaker Review

Y'all, there are SO many new lip products out, so I'm going to be adding in little reviews here and there of them. First up, I got to try the new Lancome Juicy Shaker. These are so cute!

What is it? A lip oil with a pillowy-soft cushion applicator for a delicious shot of color with a hint of shine.

What makes it different? Juicy Shaker’s bi-phase technology delivers the first pigmented lip oil with 2 distinct phases. The first phase is a transparent oil phase for a comfortable non-sticky shine. The second is the pigment phase for a shot of color. The pictures today are of them shaken. They do separate into 2 layers.

How do you use it? Shake Juicy Shaker like a cocktail shaker to mix the pigments and oil. The cushion applicator enhances application by delivering the perfect 'shot' of addictive non-sticky shine and a sheer tint of color to your lips that is simply irresistible.

What's in it? A blend of 5 nourishing oils: Peach kernel oil; a well-known emollient softens lips while Sweet Almond oil conditions and Cranberry oil provides rich anti-oxidant properties. Muscat Rose oil is rich in essential fatty acids and helps to soothe lips.

How many shades? 20

Price: $21
Berry Tale

Where can I get it? Sephora, Lancome-usa.com, and department stores where Lancome is sold

What I love:
  • the packaging--looks just like a little shaker, and it's fun to shake it. These are about the size of a lipstick, making them great for your purse.
  • I have tried plenty of lip oils, and this is the only one that doesn't dry out my lips. VERY moisturizing.
  • I LOVE the applicator. SO SOFT!!! I wish all glosses had this.
What I don't love:
  • I wish they were more pigmented. I didn't post my lip swatch pics because you couldn't tell. I do like them over a lip liner or lipstick.
Would you try these? Do you think they are as cute as I do?

Extra Elle:
  • Hope y'all had a great Cinco de Mayo! I am really sick so I stayed in!
  • TWO posts today, y'all! One beauty, and one that's personal.

  2. I hope you are feeling better. Saw your bed on Snapchat and felt sorry for you. I want one of these only to shake it and because they are so cute and unique.

  5. I watched a youtube video with someone reviewing these the other day and I love love love the packaging!!! Lacome makes some of my favorite lip products because they don't dry me out and I figured these would be a hit too. Stinks that they weren't very pigmented on you but I don't think that would stop me from trying at least one! I heard they smell amazing too!

  7. I skipped these because I know I win't get much use out of it. I dislike anything that is sheer on my lips but I hope they'll launch another version of these that would be more pigmented.

  8. I've been wanting to pick up a few of these but wasn't sure which ones I wanted to try! The packaging is very cute, but I had a feeling they would be more on the sheer side! I guess that's ok though!!

  9. I've been wanting to get one of these, but the fact that they aren't pigmented kept me from doing so. They're so cute, though!

  10. The applicator is so adorable, but that sucks that it wasn't as pigmented as you would have wanted!

  15. I have this Juicy Shaker in Bohemian Raspberry, and you can definitely see the color on the lips, it's very pretty (if you're interested in seeing the lip swatches I reviewed it recently on my blog). I think if you want a more visible color you should try some of the deeper shades!

  17. I think the packaging is so cute! I love using tinted lip oils over liquid lipsticks when they start to become dry. I have a Sephora brand lip oil and I love it!

  18. Love the idea and they look so cute! Knowing about the color, I might want a darker shade so it shows up a bit. Great review!

  24. I've been seeing these on instagram but this is the first review I've read about them. The packaging is so cute but I don't know if I would buy them because they have no color, are they suppose to be moisturizing for the lips? If so I might try them because I need something like that for my lips.
