I haven't done an empties post since 2014! What?! I know, right? I didn't get the response I wanted, so I cut them from the blog. Since it's summer, I thought I'd sneak in a little post of my empties from last week. I had my house cleaned last weekend, and the cleaners threw out my empties, so no pics of those. This collage is much nicer than my soap, drippy empty bottles, right? So let's see what I've used up:
1-EOS shave cream--I love the way they smell and it works. I'm not repurchase this because I'm set for shaving cream (and sometimes I diy my own version as well), but I would.
2-Butterfly Eyes Mask--I got this at ULTA because, it's a butterfly mask! Don't be fooled, it's simply a plain old eye mask. No cute butterfly designs or anything. It didn't do anything really special, but did work. I wouldn't repurchase.
3-Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub--While I'm a huge fan of making my own sugar scrubs, but I like to buy them occasionally. This one smells like lime. I'd buy it.
4-La Roche-Posay Micellar Solution--I tried to review all of the micellar waters (you can see here and here) and this was on it. I really liked this one, but the price keeps me from repurchasing.
5--Davines Oi Oil--Yes, that's how it's spelled. If I'm not reviewing products, I'll use Davines--it's what my salon uses. I put this into wet hair, allow to dry 70%, and then do a blow out. I've purchased twice.
6--Colleen Rothschild Dual Enzyme Polish--Get rid of dry skin with this mask. I use it in the shower and my skin always feels soft after. Very pricey, but a little goes a long way. I definitely would repurchase.
Have you tried any of these?
What is your latest empty product?
Extra Elle:
I'm extra tired this morning because my friends Leigh (from W VA) and Julie (from GA) stayed with me last night. Lots of good food and good conversation. Today's a pool day!
Your hair always looks amazing so I'd love to try the Davines Oi Oil. That dual enzyme polish sounds good too! I just emptied the Scalisi eye cream. I liked it but not enough to repurchase. Have a great day at the pool!

Boo that the eye mask really wasn't that great! I hate when they get you on product advertising!
ReplyDeletePersonally empties posts are my favorite! If you have a goal to use what you have, you never feel cluttered. You never feel like you're drowning in products! I liked this post from you!
ReplyDeleteMy sister uses the EOS shaving cream and she likes it. I can't use shaving creams. I'm allergic to something. lol I've tried many, and eventually gave up after realizing skipping them all together made my skin happy. It's been ages since I used a Soap and Glory product! I need to dive back into that brand. (:
I really like the EOS shave cream- reminds me, need to grab some next time I'm at Target! :)

I hear great things about Soap and Glory. I love body scrubs too.
ReplyDeleteI've been wondering about that eye mask. I always love Colleen Rothschild products. They are pricey, but worth it.
ReplyDeleteI also stopped doing empties because nobody cared lol- but also because I have a hard time collecting trash in my house. Makes me all nervous! ;-) xoxo, Sissi www.beauty4free2u.com
ReplyDeleteOk so how weird, my friend JUST asked me to pick up that hair oil for her when I go to the salon tomorrow! I feel like I need to try it now if you both love it!

ReplyDeleteEmpties posts/videos are my favorite! My sister bought that body scrub and it smells so good. I want to try some of the Soap & Glory products. I hear good things about them all the time. I love the EOS lip balm and hand cream, but I've never tried the shaving cream.

Oh I really need someone to come clean my house too, lol! I used the micellar water by La Roche-Posay and I really liked it too.
ReplyDeleteBeaumiroir
What's your take on micellar waters in general? I bought the generic Garnier one and don't exactly know what it's useful for. To me it seems to be a very light makeup remover but I'm still trying to understand how it benefits the skin.
ReplyDeleteI've been thinking about getting a new hair oil. Good to hear you love the Davies!
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried any of these, but I've always wondered about those eos shave creams. I think the packaging is cute!
ReplyDeleteMaybe I will pick up the shaving cream (when I decide to get rid of my salt and pepper stubble)
ReplyDeleteI have a lot of empties at the moment, as you will remember from my numerous empties posts. Right now I am really great at finishing face masks.

Ok. I gotta check out that oil
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried any of these, but I'm curious about the Davines Oi Oil! If it's a product you go back to over and over again, it must be good!
ReplyDeleteLove these types of posts! Hope you enjoyed your pool day.
ReplyDeleteI use the La Roche-Posay Micellar Water too, and I like it! I really want to try more things from Soap & Glory.
ReplyDeleteI also use Davines when I'm not trying out hair products. Love their stuff!
