Hey y'all! Is this thing on? I'm back after some traveling and sickness and I'm so excited to be here!
I hope you had a good weekend--maybe yours was a long weekend?
I had the day off and it was much-needed.
I'm finally feeling better and ready to talk about my passion: all things beauty.
But not just anything beauty...I'm talking 10 of the newest releases that are on my radar that I think you'll want to try too.
This skin-perfector in a bottle goes on sheer and takes your skin's appearance to another level. Just lovely. $38, Sephora
More color correcting products! I love First Aid Beauty's skincare so I'm excited to delve into their new line of makeup. Forget multiple steps of color correcting (green for redness anyone?), attack it all easily with this swirly cushion compact. Plus, it has superfruit extracts (that sounds fancy!) y'all. $36
Cutex BB Nail Concealer
I have the worst nails. I always have. I do go polish-free and sometimes I have plans to treat them. This gives me no excuse. It has polymer which helps with peeling and silk powder for smoothing the nail's surface. Plus, it's slightly tinted. And you can find it at the drugstore, like I will be this weekend. $6.99, drugstores
Charlotte Tilbury Instant Magic Facial Dry Sheet Mask
Olay Duo: Dual-Sided Body Cleanser
This one has me really intrigued! It's like a solid cleanser sponge, with one side that's smooth and one that's exfoliating. Just add water and the sponge shrinks after after a month of use. $9.99, drugstores
This grabbed my attention (and my money) the second I read about it. Created by celeb hairstylist Jen Atkin, this is completely changing the game when it comes dry shampoo. It's a foam that you massage into your roots and it disappears. Sounds crazy, right? Here's my review of Ouai Dry Shampoo Foam here. $28, Sephora
Jergens Natural Glow Wet Skin Moisturizer
I haven't tried this one yet, but it apparently is applied while you're post-shower. Don't rinse it off but you can dry yourelf off. I can't wait to get this and see. I love Jergen's products already, so I'm excited.
Mine broke, so I'm kind of throwing a side eye to that, but the product itself is amazing. It's like a filter in a tube that blurs away pores and fine lines. It's oil and silicone-free, too, so no breakouts! $36
Living Proof Restore Perfecting Spray
This detangles, serves as a heat protectant and ADDS VOLUME. Silky hair, here I come. This sounds perfect for cooler temps when my hair is frizzy and blah.
L’OrĂ©al Paris Extraordinary Clay
Pre-Shampoo Mask
I don't have oily roots, so I won't be able to test this out (maybe the summer) so I thought those who have oily hair would like to try this. Massage in your scalp and leave on for 5 minutes before rinsing out. Have you tried this? $6.99, drugstores
Which of these would you try?
Anything Becca and I'm pretty much sold!! A nail concealer - now that's intriguing!! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston

Yay, Elle, back to the passion - I hope you are feeling fine and rested! I am in love with some of the products - I would like to try Charlotte Tilbury mask, since it can be re-used 3 times, so, a good cost-benefit! And the stick that broke... I also would like to give it a try, it sounds practical on a trip, Milk Makeup Blur stick. And finally, I would like to try maybe Hello fab, but definitely the Cutex BB nail concealer. My nails break - easy to see when I show longer ones and the next post ah! And they are very weak. Wearing nail polish sometimes is helpful. Well, I want that product now!

Oh my goodness! All of these products sound so interesting! I am really intrigued by the primer (because I don't have great skin) and the Maybelline stick. The Jergen's lotion and the Olay sponge sound really intriguing though! Glad you're back and hope you're feeling 100%. :)
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear you're starting to feel better! I still haven't tried any sheet masks but that one by CT sounds so nice and I'm really intrigued by that l'oreal pre-shampoo hair treatment! And would love to try the Living Proof spray!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you're starting to feel better, lady- ugh, being sick is the worrrrst.

ReplyDeleteBeautylymin| LuxuryFragranceGiveaway
The foam dry shampoo stuff sounds really intriguing! So does that sheet mask. And I received a sponge soap like thing in one of my Allure boxes awhile back that was kind of cool so it is fun to see Olay come out with one.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing all these products! I need to try that Becca primer. I love their under eye color corrector.

That Becca primer looks amaaaaazing!
ReplyDeleteWelcome back, was wondering where you had gone or if I had just missed all your latest posts..! Glad to hear you're feeling better, lady! And ooh, I'm totally intrigued by these...!
ReplyDeleteThese products all sound fabulous! I have to try the nail concealer, my nails could defintiely use it!
ReplyDeleteI'm definitely going to have to try the dry sheetmask! That sounds so weird but I'm always up for new things!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you're back and feeling better! I had yesterday off and I thoroughly enjoyed having a lazy day, taking Winds to the dog park, and having dinner with my parents and sister. The other Becca primer didn't work for my oily skin so I don't know if this one will. I've heard good things though and I definitley want to get a sample next time I'm at Sephora. I've been using the green cushion from Wet n Wild, but that one has everything you need in one. I have terrible nails too. Years of acrylics, shellac, etc have damaged them. I've tried to go polish-free to let them repair, but I just can't do it. I have to have my polish to feel like me. That dry sheet mask definitely has my attention and I need that olay thing too. I didn't love the Estee Edit blur stick, but from what I'm hearing and reading, the Milk one is the real deal. I'm all for anything that blurs pores.I used the L'Oreal CLay shampoo and conditioner sample this weekend and I LOVE it. I will definitely be purchasing and probably getting the mask too. I see another #ellemademebuy it coming up soon.
ReplyDeleteSuch a great products. Thanks for sharing it.

The Milk Make Up Blur Stick sounds interesting!
ReplyDeleteI'm REALLY curious about the Ouai foam. With my oily hair it could be a life saver in the morning when my roots look greasy and I don't have time to shampoo! Classic dry shampoos are fine to take the greasiness down a bit, but they don't make my scalp feel clean.
ReplyDeleteAs for Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizer, I've tried one before (not in the glow range) and it did absolutely nothing except make my skin feel greasy. No moisture whatsoever...
Beaumiroir
Glad to hear that you're feeling better! I'll have to look into the nail concealer for sure. My nails could always use the help too.
ReplyDeleteThe primer sounds soo good! Welcome back, glad to hear you are feeling better xx
