Here's another thing about me: I can be a slacker when it comes to the maintenance of my nails. It seems like such a chore, a nuisance. But taking care of my nails helps the polish last longer, so matter what brand I use, so when I was contacted by Dr. Dana, I knew my nails would love it. Dr. Dana is is an internationally recognized dermatologist, and is one of the only physicians in the country with a specialty in the diagnosis and treatment of nail disorders. All of her products are formulated with the highest quality ingredients, backed by science, and clinically proven to improve the appearance of nails. Now do you see why I had to try this?
I got to try out the 3 step Nail Renewal System and y'all, it's so easy to use. After researching thousands of ingredients, this easy-to-use, three-step, scientific system will not only bring nails back to a healthy, hydrated, youthful state but will leave them with a long lasting, chip-free, gorgeous shine. It comes with 3 steps: Glycolic Prep For Nails, Perfect Grit Priming Wand, and Deep Hydrating Formula. So let's get into it:
Step 01: Glycolic Prep For Nails
Directions: Twist the bottom of pen until a droplet appears on the applicator tip. Brush a thin, even coat onto clean, dry, unpolished nails. One pen twist treats five nails. Use once weekly. Provides 90 days of treatment.
Step 02: Perfect Grit Priming Wand
Directions: Start with Side 1 and sweep over nails two to five times. A powdery overlay will appear indicating it’s time for Side 2. Using Side 2, sweep over nails two to five times. Finish with Side 3, pressing more firmly and sweeping back and forth until nails achieve a lustrous, chip-free shine.Directions: Twist the bottom of the pen until the applicator tip is saturated. Brush generously onto nails, cuticles and surrounding skin. Use once a week, or more, if nails are prone to peeling.
And that's it! Healthy nails for me! The Dr. Dana® Nail Renewal System has 90 days of treatments when used weekly for $46. And it's 5-free: Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde Resin, Dibutyl Phthalate, Camphor, Toluene Free and Paraben Free, as well as Fragrance Free, Dye Free, and Cruelty Free.
Are you good about nail maintenance?
Extra Elle:
Headed out of town this weekend to work on something special with my youngest sister. I can't wait to share it with you.
They finally fixed the 85 bridge in Atlanta. Remember a couple of months ago when it caught on fire? It's been so lovely to have my drive cut down by half. Yay!
My nails are in terrible shape so I would love to try this system. Thanks for sharing Elle!

Man....I am the worst when it comes to nails esp. lately. I think it's because I'm always ruining the polish as soon as I put it on that I don't even bother, and also cause I seem to be always washing my hands...sigh....anyhoo, this system sounds pretty great, Elle.:)
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday!
Painting my nails is relaxing for me too. It's usually my Sunday ritual. This system sounds like something I could use! Thanks for sharing!

I love a good at home manicure set/help.
ReplyDeleteI cant believe how fast they got that expressway back up!!!! We had to have one replaced & it nearly took a year.
I am soooo bad with my nails too, I am hopeless with it! I use to get manicure and pedicure back in Malaysia but that all stopped here.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds fabulous! I am definitely a mani-at-home type of girl so this is right up my alley. Great review.

My nails are on a break from regular gel mani's and this would be such a treat for me right now. Enjoy the sister time! Can't wait to hear all about it!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, it must be such a relief to have the bridge near you fixed! I'm horrible about taking care of my nails, but this system actually seems pretty doable!
ReplyDeleteHave fun with your sister!!
ReplyDeleteI don't think I've ever done any sort of nail treatment before. This looks pretty simple to do, though!
That looks super simple! I'm terrible at taking care of my nails, I never paint them so I should really try it out!

ReplyDeleteI'm the worst at taking care of my nails! These products do seem nice though and not too difficult
ReplyDeleteomg I need this so bad. My fingernails need to be renewed. They are probably so damaged from all the polish I use!
ReplyDeleteI do a lot of my clients nails, but to be honest I tend to slack off when it comes to my own nails. I now get my own nails done pretty often though, so that does help
ReplyDeleteThis seems like a nice maintenance set! I worked in a nail salon for 6 years, so maintaining mine is just a habit for me now!
ReplyDeleteI am awful at taking care of my nails. I will file them and keep them clean and trimmed but i don't take care of my cuticles like I should nor paint them regularly. Sometimes I feel like my girl card should be taken away because of it. LOL
ReplyDeleteI'm not the greatest about nail maintenance, but this looks so simple and easy to do :)
ReplyDeleteNice post ♥ It looks great !
ReplyDeleteOh I am not good about any kind of nail maintenance. These sound like such great products I need in my life!
ReplyDeleteI'm TERRIBLE at nail maintenance, so it sounds like I need these products! They look so easy to use, which makes them really appealing too.
ReplyDeleteI totally need something like this. I tend to be neglectful of my hands since I work with them so much.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds amazing, I will have to check it out!

I got my love of nail polish from my grandma too! I'm not the best at maintenance either, but this system is easy so I'd have no excuse
ReplyDeleteThis system sounds awesome. I used to get regular manicures, but have cut back lately. Having all these products and tools to do it at home would be so easy! I need to do a better job.
ReplyDeleteI really need to do this. My fingers look so damn ugly.
