Yes, You Need to Try Lip Liners

Do you use lip liner? I find it to be an essential part of my routine when I'm wearing lipstick. I used to not be that way, but wearing lip liner really, truly does make a difference. It just adds that something that gives a polished look.

I love them for defining my lips and I cannot wear a red lip without lip liner. Nope. No can do. Sometimes I'll completely fill in my lips with them and maybe add a gloss or a lip balm for that just-bitten look. Or other times I'll use a few of them for an ombre effect (Marylin Monroe's makeup artist supposedly used 5 on her red lips).     I'm a really big fan of these! The clear one is such a game changer. Target is one of those stores that I just can't browse and I always end up leaving with something ;p

    Love love love that pink color on you!!! It is gorgeous! Of course, you look good in red too. I need to be better about using a liner. My lipsticks always bleed on me and I usually stick to gloss.

    I love that nude color that was your favorite too. It looks so natural! I don't wear lipstick, so I don't use a liner, but when I went to my junior prom I attempted to wear lipstick. I looked so clownish because I didn't wear a lip liner, and after that I never wore lipstick again!

    Lip liner is one product that I never really use but I think I should! These look great and I love your idea of applying it all over and then adding a gloss over the top. I might have to treat myself to some of these and give it a try :) x

    I never saw the point in lip liners till a few years ago and now I can't live without them. I need to try these especially since Maybelline lipsticks are my favorites. I have an Ulta gift card and that's the only thing I'm allowed to shop with this month.

    I use to be so afraid to trying lipliners! They definitely are a must. I stopped wearing them for a while and now I've started using them again and wondered why I ever stopped! All these from maybelline look so pretty, I love all the nude ones!

    I got a Milani lip liner earlier this year to go with some of my reds, but I found it not only altered the colors, it turned the finishes more satin than matte. I think if I were more into cremes, I'd have as many liners as lipsticks, lol. I do love my Urban Decay Ozone, though, and I can't believe no one else has managed to release a clear lip liner.

    Anyway, you always rock the red, but that nude is seriously gorgeous on you.

    Hi Elle! I love the gifs you included :) I think I have the lipstick #235, as well! They all look so pretty. Maybelline does a wonderful job with their formulas and packaging.
    I love wearing lip liners but haven't tried these yet; I'd probably grab Rich Chocolate first!
    And I had no idea about the Mario Karts at Target lol so cool =)

    I was so excited when I spotted these Maybelline Lip Liners on a few blogs but then was mega disappointed to see that in the UK, we don't even have half of these shades available to buy! The two shades I did try are so lovely.
