What did Elle See this weekend? Well, I had great plans to go see the Kite Festival, but you had to have a ticket to be let in (ridic!). Instead, we went to the Georgia Renaissance Festival. I had some trepidations, but we ended up having a blast and staying all day. Some ppl take this ish seriously, so the costumes and dedication to it cracked me up.
A knight takes off his hat to throw axes.
As you can see, he didn't do well.
A little look at village life.
Mona Sees was not ready for her closeup.
Turkey legs...a delicacy along with pretty much anything fried and/or on a stick.
We saw plenty of homemade crafts, like this very talented glass maker.
A closeup of an ornament he created.
Leather roses. Unusual to say the least!
It was surprisingly crowded. Who knew?
Time for some jousting!
Hilarious fire acrobatics
Snowcones ended the day.
It was $19.95 to get in and there was free parking. You aren't allowed to bring drinks in, but they we didn't get searched. The place was bigger than I thought and was very crowded, but I didn't feel claustrophobic. The shows were funny and free and the food was good. Bottles of Coke were $2.75, and food was around $3-7. How was your weekend?
It looks like you had a great weekend :) Those photos are very nice, especially the Mona Lisa :)

ReplyDeleteMy weekend was rather hectic. I moved home from college for the summer again (that part is getting old, ha) and just spent the whole weekend unpacking. yay! (sarcasm)
