Beauty DIY: Elle Sees' Sea Salt Spray for Beachy Waves

First up, is my special recipe for DIY Sea Salt Spray.

 This is what I've used for years, 

and I've shared it a couple of times before on the blog.

This is good stuff and it works!

I N G R E D I E N T S

   

-Inside clean spray bottle:

-Add 1 squirt of thick conditioner (I use Aussie's 3 Minute Miracle)

-In my original recipe, I used a pinch of coconut oil, but the conditioner listed works just as well! 

(I've noticed Pinterest Pinners using my recipe, 

but they aren't adding that the coconut oil 

needs to be melted, otherwise it won't spray!)

-1/4 c of Kosher salt (not table or rock salt)

-Add 1 squirt of hair gel 

-Fill rest of bottle with water.

D I R E C T I O N S

-Shake ingredients. 

-Spray on wet hair.

-Braid hair or put into bun or scrunch.

-Use t-shirt to scrunch waves--this prevents frizziness!

-Dry hair however you'd like.

*The salt gives texture.

*The gel gives hold.

*The conditioner or coconut oil softens the crunch & smells like coconut.

*The water is a base and dilutes the ingredients to make them spray-able.
