Cheap Treats: Beauty Blender Dupe For $5.99

CHEAP TREATS are beauty products I love that are fewer than $10. Click here for past treats!

How do you apply your makeup? Fingers? Brush? Sponge? Magic? One product that has been super popular amongst makeup artists is the BeautyBlender. It's a non-disposable makeup applicator that's a beauty award winner. And it's $20.

No thanks. Instead, I offer the comparable egg-shaped Soho Beauty Sponge, found at Walgreens', Walmart, Target, CVS, and Harmon stores. It looks (similar), feels, and works just like the Beauty Blender. And it's $5.99. {If you have trouble finding one, email me. I've personally found them in Walgreens and some Walmart stores.}

I've tried other kinds recommended but those just didn't work for me. Name a so-called dupe and I've tried it. And it didn't work. Trust. Here's how to use it:
  • To apply foundation, tinted moisturizer, or BB Cream with a flawless finish, wet the sponge under water and then squeeze the excess.
  • Roll, tap, stipple, or bounce the sponge to get the airbrushed effect. Don't drag it.
  • Use the pointed ends to help apply makeup or concealer around the eyes, mouth, and nose.
  • Swirl the pointed tip back and forth to help minimize the look of pores.
  • Wash with anti-bac soap to clean or a solid cleanser.
{Wet before using for a flawless finish.}
